February, 2004 – The Doubletree Hotel Berkeley Marina is pleased to announce the grand opening of its new Executive Meeting Center, which is an official member of the Independent Association of Conferences & Conventions (IACC).
Located within 15 miles of Oakland International Airport and 23 miles of San Francisco International Airport, on the eastern shores of San Francisco Bay, the Executive Meeting Center at Berkeley is a 7,800 square-foot dedicated meeting facility that can comfortably host groups from 10 to 70. The Executive Meeting Center complements the 5,100 square feet ballroom already available at the 369 room, full-service Doubletree hotel.

Each of the eight meeting rooms in the Executive Meeting Center is powerfully equipped with ergonomic chairs, customized lighting, non-glare tables, T-1 Internet access, soundproofing treatments and climate controls in order to create the ultimate meeting environment. The facility also features a spacious dining area and a business center that caters to the needs of Executive Meeting Center guests.

· Day Meeting Package - For meetings that don't require an overnight stay, this package includes: a dedicated conference planner, conference rooms on a 24-hour basis, continuous refreshment service, continental breakfast, hot and cold luncheon buffet, business/concierge services, audio-visual package and parking.
*All prices are per person per night, including gratuity. Taxes and other incidental charges are not included.
All meeting rooms are held on a 24-hour basis so that attendees can pick up exactly where they left off the day before.
To customize your meeting further, a variety of upgrades such as a welcome amenity, private banquet dinner or turndown service with cordial amenity are also available at an additional cost.
