OAK BROOK (April 14, 2004) -- The Hyatt Lodge at Hamburger University

Oak Brook—The Hyatt Lodge at McDonald's Campus in Oak Brook is pleased to announce that the affiliated Hamburger University Conference Facilities will receive Independent Association of Conferences & Conventions (IACC) approval as of February 2004. Located in Chicago's western suburbs, 20 miles from downtown Chicago, the Hamburger University Conference Facilities, affiliated and adjacent to the Hyatt Lodge at McDonald's Campus in Oak Brook, is one of only 13 hotel conference centers in the Chicagoland area with IACC certification.

The IACC is a not-for-profit, facilities organization founded in 1981 to promote greater awareness and understanding of unique features of conference centers around the world. IACC's Universal Criteria ensures superior quality in all facilities and the services offered.

The newly IACC accredited Hamburger University's 33,000 sq. feet two-level state-of-the-art conference center includes 38 meeting rooms and seven tiered classrooms. With meeting rooms that feature ergonomic chairs, customized lighting, non-glare tables, high-speed wireless internet access, translation booths, and automated audio visual equipment, Hamburger University Conference Center aims to create the ultimate meeting environment.

In addition to the Hamburger University Conference Center, the Hyatt Lodge at McDonald's Campus boasts 17,000 square feet of meeting space and can accommodate groups from 5 to 300. The Hyatt Lodge at McDonald's Campus meeting center, including five breakout rooms, complements the 5,200 square ft. state-of-the-art ballroom, 3,900 square ft. pavilion and 218 spacious guestrooms.
