May 13, 2004 – NORTHWIND, a provider of enterprise property management and reservation solutions for hospitality, announced today the Holiday Inn Sydney at Rooty Hill has selected the Maestro™ Enterprise Suite to automate the 163 room resort hotel with Front Office, Sales and Catering, and Work Order Scheduling. e-clipse Computer Systems, the Australian distributor of NORTHWIND's Maestro, will install the complete suite of Maestro applications and interfaces.

Holiday Inn Rooty Hill is unlike any other Australian hotel. With 163 guest rooms and five large function rooms, it is respected as a leading international resort hotel. The adjacent Rooty Hill RSL Club, which incorporates a 1000 seat concert auditorium, provides a perfect complementary entertainment and dining venue. The Holiday Inn selected the Maestro Enterprise Suite because it required a full-function property management suite to automate all aspects of its operations. Maestro Front Office offers the Holiday Inn Rooty Hill a true Windows application that includes a robust Yield Management module and powerful CRM.

The Holiday Inn will utilize the Maestro Sales and Catering System to manage functions that range in size from small boutique gatherings to grand weddings and conferences. Maestro's single-image SQL database consolidates all guest, operational, and financial information in a comprehensive secured file structure that eliminates the need for duplicate data entry and allows information to be shared across all applications. Maestro will be interfaced to the Infogensis Point of Sale system allowing the hotel guests to use all the property's facilities and those of the RSL Club via a charge back facility, eliminating the need for extra charging to credit cards or cash. Maestro is widely used by hotels in the Asia-Pacific region, including the Four-Star Legend Hotel Group, which operates Legend Villas, and Kabayan Hotels located in Manila and Palawan (one of the main tourist resort areas of the Philippines). Currently, there are 4 properties within the group using Maestro with another property coming on line in the next two months and at least 10 more properties planned to be upgraded and installed with Maestro within the next 3-5 years. The properties are all running Maestro version 4.8 deployed over terminal services from the head office location. CRS is operated out of the Manila Head Office along with centralized accounting.
